Care for our catfish does not stop with our ponds.  Our company owned seining and live haul department harvests and delivers our prime U.S. Farm Raised catfish to our state of the art processing facilities year round so that the delicacy is available to you anytime.  Our catfish is harvested in large weighted nets, called seines, with a mesh sized to capture fish that are suitable for processing, while letting smaller fish grade back into the pond.  The catfish are then gently loaded into baskets and placed on our aerated tank trucks for live shipment to our processing facilities.  The proximity of our farms to our plant allows us to get our fish there in the most efficient and quickest manner possible to ensure freshness and consistent quality that our customers rely on.  Our farm raised catfish are the perfect size, the perfect flavor, and the perfect texture to be processed into an excellent product that you can be proud to serve.  Harvest Select is one of the few companies that can monitor and control all stages of this process, which allows us to provide our customers with the exact product to meet their needs.  Harvest Select is committed to farming in an environmentally respectful manner and developing new ways to keep catfish sustainable, now and into the future.
